After sustaining a 13-1 runaway defeat in the opener, Little Falls put itself in position to garner a split against Granite Ridge Conference (GRC) favorite Mora, Tuesday.

But after the Flyers built an early 3-0 advantage in the first and clung to a 4-3 edge heading into the final at bat, Mora hit a walk-off two-run homer to come away with a 5-4 victory and the sweep.

Senior Jamie Jenks led Little Falls with a pair of hits in each game, while junior Sierra Virnig also hit safely in both contests.

Sophomore Katelynn Kanieski went 1-for-3 with two RBIs in the finale.
