Faribault man sentenced to 30 months in prison for burglary

Jerry Carl Wolf, 36, Faribault, was convicted May 6, of third degree burglary in Morrison County District Court.

On Nov. 25, 2012, the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a storage unit had been broken into. A number of items had been taken including audio speakers, tools, a 2009 Honda model 3000 generator estimated at $1,900 and other items worth several thousand dollars.

On Jan. 3, the sheriff’s office received a call from a Benton County investigator who had interviewed Wolf, then a suspect in a number of burglaries. During that interview, Wolf admitted to stealing a Honda generator from a storage unit in Morrison County, then selling it to a business in Waite Park.

The generator was returned to Morrison County and the victim identified it as the one taken from his storage unit.

Wolf was sentenced to 30 months in prison and fined $135.

Jerry, This is your uncle. There’s something a lot better out there that’s worth while, and that’s reading the bible and getting into God’s word. Jesus still loves you, and that will never change.
