Little Falls Community High School students and staff will hold its third annual “Day of Caring,” Wednesday, May 15.
All of the high school students and staff, along with some community businesses and individual members, will provide more than 3,000 hours of outdoor, spring cleanup service to seniors, disabled and homebound individuals in Little Falls and Randall.
Almost 1,000 volunteers — including about 800 students — will help more than 155 individual homeowners who have signed up for assistance during the event. In addition, the volunteers will work on outdoor cleanup projects at city parks and community areas.
The public is reminded to drive cautiously Wednesday morning, between 9 a.m. – noon, because teams of students will be walking between work locations and crossing streets carrying rakes and other cleanup equipment.
