Services will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Roseville, Thursday, May 23, with a private interment following. Memorials may be directed to the Dorothy J. Busch Memorial Fund, Mueller-Bies, 651-487-2550.
Dorothy was born in Duluth. Dorothy grew up in Little Falls, graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in business education from St. Cloud State College in 1948, and taught for a term at Wadena High School, before taking a job with Morrison County until her marriage to Paul in 1950. In her teens, she served as organist for the Congregational Church in Little Falls; later, she was organist at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (1966-1986) and then at Emmaus Lutheran Church (1996 -2003) in St. Paul. She loved the intricacy of Bach, the satisfaction of a good financial investment and the intrigue of a complicated murder mystery. She will be missed.
Survivors include children, Susan (Thomas) Leaf, Kevin (Felicia) Busch and Barbara Busch; and grandchildren, Andrew, Katharine, John and Christina Leaf and Mathew, Ryan and Daniel Busch.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; parents, John and Frieda Moeller; and sister, Virginia Kiewel.
