Everett Arthur Lodermeier of Fort Ripley was born April 21, 1928 in Crow Wing County to Peter and Hannah (Zupan) Lodermeier. He went home to his place in heaven May 17, 2013, while in the loving arms of his wife, Grace, with his family nearby.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mathias Catholic Church followed by a lunch and social time.. Burial will be in the St. Mathias Catholic Church Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home where a prayer service will be at 7:30PM and at the church one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
Everett married Grace Gangestad, Sept. 16, 1950, at St. Mathias Catholic Church. They made their home on the family farm on the county line of Morrison and Crow Wing counties. To this union and through their love four sons were born: Peter, Ervin (Tammy), Jakie (Lisa), Jesse (Diana). Also left to cherish his memory are grandchildren: Chad, April, Tony, Dawn, Sara, Kacy, Cory, Keya, Courtney, Kyle and Nick, great-grandchildren: Hunter, Hayden, Evan, Brianna, Alaina, Cecelia, Cody, Lyla, Faith, Xander, Tate, Mikaela and Hannah. Preceding him to heaven were his parents, five brothers, two sisters, and daughter-in-law Kathy.
Along with farming he worked at the Burlington Northern Rail Road as a Carman. He attended the St. Mathias Catholic Church where he was a Knights of Columbus member. His biggest joy was spending time with his family and playing dice games or cards.
