Danielle Skajewski has been named the Little Falls Area Chamber Employee of the Month for June.

Skajewski has been an High School Special Education teacher with Little Falls Community Schools for 22 years.

Little Falls High School Principal Tim Bjorge said, “Danielle brings a positive attitude to her job each and every day. She is passionate about her students and works very hard to provide opportunities in the community for her students to experience success.”

“I am very honored to be getting this recognition,” said Skajewski. “Teaching students is a group effort and I am very fortunate to be working with such a wonderful bunch of co-workers. Every person who works in our building is a very important team member. I enjoy coming to work every day to see my friends and students.”

Skajewski and her husband, Alan, have one son, Lee.

In her spare time, Skajewski enjoys reading, gardening, camping, cooking and traveling.

For being chosen as June Employee of the Month, Skajewski will receive gift certificates from Broadway Stylists, Dairy Queen, Pizza Ranch and the West Side Bar. She will also receive a plant from Northern Image Landscaping, a cookbook from St. Gabriel’s Hospice program and will have her photo taken by Silker Studio.
