Little Falls Golf Extravaganza to take place June 8

The sixth annual Little Falls Golf Course Extravaganza tournament will be held at the Little Falls Country Club, Saturday, June 8.

Registration for the four-person scramble event will begin at 11:30 a.m., with the shotgun start at 12:30 p.m., with a dinner to follow the tournament.

There will be many games on the course including longest drive, closest to the pin and longest putt for. This year’s hole-in-one prize is sponsored by The Larson Boat Company. The skillful player who makes the hole-in-one will be taking home a new Larson Boat.

Over the past five years, the tournament has been able to raise more than $75,000, with tremendous support from local businesses and individuals to make it a very successful event. Money generated is used to make improvements to the golf course and upgrade equipment used on the course, with an emphasis on support of the youth golf program.

Event co-chair Al Bauman said he is impressed every year “to see such dedication and response to this tournament,” with a “huge thank you to all who support” the tournament.
