The Little Falls School Board closed its meeting Monday for the purpose of Supt. Stephen Jones’ first evaluation since he started his position July 1, 2012.
“It is the board’s responsibility to evaluate his job performance including the areas of policy and governance, planning and assessment, instructional leadership, organizational management, communication and community involvement and professionalism,” said Board Chair Sharon Ballou.
Each of those areas was rated by each board director and then discussed with Jones as a full board during the closed meeting. The summary of the evaluation was positive, with strong achievements noted in each of the areas.
“Moving forward, the Board and Jones will continue to support the policies and mission of the Little Falls District,” said Ballou.
