Thank you letters, July 7, 2013 issue

To the Editor:

The Morrison County Food Shelf of Little Falls recently held its volunteer appreciation picnic. We would like to thank: the Franciscan Sisters for donating hot dogs, hamburgers and fixin’s, the board members for the rest of the food, and all of our volunteers. We appreciate the many hours out volunteers put in, and we know that we could not serve our friends and neighbors without their help. — Leah Schilling, Morrison County Food Shelf Board member, Little Falls

We would like to extend a special thank you to the Harding Area Sportsmen’s Club for their generous monetary donation to the Pierz Senior Center to purchase special thermo-insulated bags for their delivery of “Meals on Wheels.” — Ray Kahl and the Pierz Area Nutrition Site Board, Pierz
