All invited to enter MCCL baby photo contest at the Fair

The Morrison County Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life (MCCL) will be operating a booth at the Morrison County Fair, Aug. 8-11.

The annual “Penny-A-Vote” baby photo contest will be held, which has been an eye-catcher over the past years. Each photo will be mounted and anonymously numbered in a display case.

Anyone — parents, grandparents, family members and friends — can vote for the photos, which are divided into two age categories; birth to one year (birthday July 2, 2012 to July 1, 2013) and 1- and 2-years-olds (must be less than 3 years old by July 1, 2013).

Winners are determined by votes. A penny a vote is tallied ($1 equals 100 votes, $5 equals 500 votes, etc.). The child with the most votes wins $50 and second place wins $25 in each age category.

Photos must be no larger than 4-inches by 6-inches and labeled on the back with the child’s name, birth date, parents’ name, address and phone number. The child must be a resident of Morrison County. A stamped self-addressed envelope should be included so the photo can be returned.

Photos must be post-marked by Saturday, Aug. 3 and mailed to: Carol Fussy, 6998 200th Ave., Royalton, MN 56373. Call (320) 584-5665 for information.
