‘Church Ladies’ raise funds for Oasis Central Minnesota

A dinner show featuring “Church Ladies Save the World” will be held at the Falls Ballroom in Little Falls Wednesday, Aug. 14. The event is being held to raise money for Oasis Central Minnesota.

The musical is a cross between “Nunsense” and the “Church Basement Ladies.”

“It’s a fun, light-hearted comedy,” said performer Vicki Spofford.

A special appearance by professional comedian Jason Schommer will be part of the evening.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour. The dinner and show start at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased at Oasis Central Minnesota in the Historic Morrison County Courthouse, the St. Francis Music Center or by calling (320) 632-9140.

All tickets must be purchased by Thursday, Aug. 8.

Funds will be used to further the outreach efforts of Oasis Central Minnesota in Morrison County. Currently, Oasis provides a weekly Share A Meal, an annual Paint A Thon and Fix A Home projects and Ruby’s Pantry food distribution. For more information, call Oasis at (320) 632-9140.
