obit-Pulak-HelenHelen L. Pulak, a resident of Harding, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 30, 2013.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, Aug. 3, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Harding. Interment was in the Harding Parish Cemetery,
Helen was born May 18, 1930, to Peter and Mary (Kuka) Knopik in Platte Lake Township. She graduated from Little Falls High School. Helen was united in marriage June 4, 1949, in Harding to Edward A. Pulak. Together they operated the family farm near Harding. Helen’s passion was cooking. She worked as a cook for many years. She enjoyed time with family and friends. She was a lifelong member of Holy Cross Parish in Harding.
Survivors include her sons Randy and LeeAnn Pulak, Harding; James and Judy Pulak, Harding; and Thomas, Minneapolis; daughters,  Gloria and Edward Woitalla, Harding; Mary and Richard Maleski, New Market; brother, Roy, Harding; sister, Beverly, Brainerd; 21 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband Edward; daughter, Kathleen; sister, Rita; brothers, Leonard, Tom, and Clarence; and grandchildren, Jackie Maleski and Jamie Pulak.
