Two counts of fifth degree possession of drugs dismissed against Strack

On July 29, Morrison County District Courts dismissed two counts of fifth degree possession of drugs against Malissa Joy Strack, 46, of Little Falls.

On June 7, while looking for Strack in connection to another case, Morrison County deputies located and arrested her on probable cause at a residence in Green Prairie Township.

When the deputies searched the residence, several baggies of marijuana were found, along with a digital scale, a pill bottle with unidentified blue pills, a white crystal-like substance, a bong, a glass pipe, one gram of methamphetamine, a mirror and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia.

Todd Chantry, assistant Morrison County attorney, said the charges were dismissed without prejudice because the prosecution lacked sufficient probable cause and that the state would be unable to prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt.
