Anthony “Tony” Lesinski, a resident of Minneapolis,
passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013, after a long illness.
A funeral mass was held at Gill Brothers Funeral Home in Minneapolis Tuesday, Aug. 6. Burial was at Fort Snelling Cemetery.
Tony was born on a farm in Sobieski. He was the youngest child born to Frank and Frances Lesinski. After proudly serving in the Army, he moved to Minneapolis and started a business career. He went on to own and operate several dump body and steel fabrication businesses in the Twin Cities area. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing cribbage and watching his beloved Minnesota sports teams. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion.
Tony is preceded in death by wife, Mary.
He is survived by children, Lori, John, Jeanne and Frank; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
