Randall man convicted of third degree assault

A Randall man, Keith Richard Ritchie-Heyer, 21, was convicted July 31 of felony assault in the third degree, in connection with an April 24 incident.

On April 24, the Randall Police Department responded to the report Ritchie-Heyer assaulting a 19-year-old Randall man, because he was unable to pay off a debt he owed to Ritchie-Heyer.

The victim sustained a deep cut to his forehead and bruising around both eye sockets as a result of the assault.

Ritchie-Heyer was sentenced to 30 days in jail stayed for two years, with credit for two days served, fined $135 and put on two years supervised probation.
