Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 14, at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls. Burial was in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery north of Little Falls.
Ronald was born Nov. 2, 1933, in Parker Township, to the late Arthur and Myrtle (Statema) Post. He grew up and resided his entire life in Cushing. Ron entered into the United States Army May 2, 1957, and served in Germany his entire tour. He was honorably discharged April 22, 1959. Ron was united in marriage to Mary Lou Bollig Dec. 3, 1965, in Little Falls. Ron worked as a welder for much of his life, but his favorite job was making firewood that he sold. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on old steam engines. He loved spending time with his family and also enjoyed having coffee with his friends every morning in Lincoln. Ron was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Ron is survived by his wife ,Mary Lou Post of Cushing; son, Kevin (Angie) Post of Cushing; brother, Arthur (Meridith) Post of California; sister, Jeanette White of Little Falls; and grandchildren, Kevin Post Jr., Levi Post, Elliott Post, Garrett Post, Megan Post and many nieces and nephews.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Myrtle Post; twin brother, Donald Post; brothers, Robert and Michael Post; and sister, Annie Brock.
