Hands of Hope hosts 16th annual ‘Tee off to stop violence’ tourney

The Hands of Hope Resource Center’s 16th annual “Tee Off to Stop Violence” charitable golf tournament will take place Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the Little Falls Country Club.

Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. with a 1 pm shotgun start. Golfers should arrive early to purchase mulligans, register for the skins contest and start bidding on silent auction items. Lunch will also be provided by Subway of Little Falls. Prizes will be awarded for first, fifth and 10th place teams as well as longest drives, longest putts and closest to the pin.

Games on the course are planned, and there will also be a hole-in-one contest with a chance to win a GE Café Appliance Package sponsored by RadioShack/Design Electronics. Dinner is sponsored by Coborn’s, Zylka’s Red Bull Bar and Four Cheeks BBQ Sauce.

To register, sponsor, or donate an item for the silent auction, contact Michele Miller at (320) 632-1657 or visit www.handsofhope.net for additional information.

All proceeds benefit Hands of Hope Resource Center and its work with victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse and other crimes.
