A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, Aug. 24, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Royalton with Fr. Laurn Virnig officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Richard Kenneth Peterick was born Aug. 12, 1963, in Little Falls, the son of Kenneth and Marie (Richmond) Peterick. He grew up in Royalton and attended Royalton Public Schools, graduating from Royalton High School in 1982. Richard spent most of his work career in construction around Minnesota. He was a member of the Labor Union. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, hunting, camping, four wheeling, playing cards and cribbage, and watching the Price is Right at Scottie’s Log Bar ever morning. He was united in marriage to Dorine Bieniek, July 2, 2003. The couple has lived in Bowlus since their marriage. Richard was always cracking jokes and trying to make people laugh. His family and friends will miss his humor.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Dorine of Bowlus; mother, Marie Peterick of St. Cloud; children, Kristopher (Miriam) Peterick and daughter, Zoe all of St. Cloud, Jessica (Luke) Peterick of Atlanta, Ga.; step-children, Jesse Brady of Bowlus, Joshua Brady of Bowlus, Robin (Steven Weiss) Brady and children, Benjamin and Evan Weiss all of Royalton; siblings, Rusty (Shelly) Peterick of Bertha, Randy (Michelle) Peterick of St. Cloud, Robbie Peterick of South Dakota; and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Richard was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Peterick; nephew, Jeremiah Peterick; grandparents, Alice and Roman Peterick and Hilda and Floyd Richmond; mother and father-in-law, Mildred and Felix Bieniek and other relatives.
