Larson convicted of selling methamphetamine

On Aug. 14, Mason Frederick Larson, 23, Coon Rapids, was convicted in Morrison County District Court with one felony count of third degree conspiracy to sell methamphetamine.

In December 2012, Larson was arrested by officers after the Morrison County Sheriffs Office, Little Falls and Royalton police departments, the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force and the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension concluded their investigations.

During the course of the investigation, more than 30 grams of methamphetamine were confiscated.

Larson was sentenced to the correctional facility in St. Cloud for 33 months, stayed for 20 years and was given credit for the 242 days he spent in jail. Larson was fined $135 and given supervised probation for 20 years.
