Thank you Letters, Sept. 1

Thank you to Zylka’s Red Bull for hosting the 18th Motorcycle Ride For Hospice. Thanks to the many donors who supplied door prizes and auction items. With continued support, this event can continue to help the terminally ill in Morrison County. Thanks to the volunteers and riders who generously give their time to support Unity Family Hospice. The list of donors and volunteers is in an article within this issue. Thanks for another successful event. — Kathy Lange, Foundation director, St. Gabriel’s Healthcare Foundation, Little Falls

To the Editor:

This year’s “Ride for Eyes” was held Aug. 17 in Sobieski. It marked our 22nd motorcycle ride to raise money for the Lions Eye Bank. We would sincerely like to thank anyone, and everyone, who helped to make our “Ride” a success. It gives me, as this year’s chairman, along with the Sobieski Lions, a very warm feeling that we did what our motto says, “We Serve.” Thank you so much. — Mark Kedrowski, chairman for the “Ride for Eyes,” and the Sobieski Lions, Sobieski

To the Editor:

Thanks to Coborn’s of Little Falls for allowing us to participate in their hot dog/brat sale and our volunteers Amanda Craft, DeAnn Adams, Jill, Brian M. and Haeli, and the Gocken family who helped at the event. To those who “bought a hot dog to help a dog,” thanks. — Trista Whitman, Morrison County Animal Humane Society, Little Falls
