Maureen Watercott Memorial Drive to be dedicated Oct. 14

The city of Pierz will dedicate a portion of North Edward Street as “Maureen Watercott Memorial Drive” during a ceremony Monday, Oct. 14, at 6 p.m. Two signs will be placed, one near Edward Street and Highway 39 and one near Holy Trinity School, close to where Maureen Watercott lived. Watercott was the treasurer for the city of Pierz for 14 years, before she died of cancer earlier this year. Pictured above is the sign designed by Froggy’s Signs of Little Falls. The signs will measure 18-inches by 24-inches.
