Johnnie F. Mudick, of Motley, passed away at the Lakewood Care Center, Sept. 3, 2013.
Funeral services were planned for Saturday, Sept. 7 at the Motley Free Methodist Church. Burial was at the Motley Public Cemetery.
Johnnie was born Jan. 8, 1916, in South St. Paul, to John and Kate (Slovik) Mudick. He served his country during World War 2 and married Gladys Dudy Christenson, Oct. 2, 1940. During his lifetime he held many jobs, including; river logger, truck driver, welder, and owning a sale barn. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, raising cattle, and hauling scrap iron.
Johnnie is survived by his son, Donald Mudick Sr.; and grandson, Donald Mudick Jr., and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys; his parents; brother, Harry Mudick; and sisters, Pauline Mudick, Lizzie Wille, Josie Smith, Helen Perfetti, Hazel Harrison, Clara Benson, Evelyn Smith and Margaret Snyder
