Two Girl Scout registration nights will be held. The first one will be held Tuesday, Sept. 24, from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at First Lutheran Church in Little Falls for girls in the Little Falls and Randall communities. The second will be held Thursday, Sept. 26, from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the Experience Room at Pioneer Elementary School in Pierz for girls in the Pierz area.
Girl Scouts is open to any girl ages 5 – 17. New Girl Scouts can either sign up with existing troops if space is available or new troops will be formed. The meeting time, dates and locations for each troop varies based on the needs of those registered in each troop. There is also an option for girls to be independent Girl Scouts as well. A registration fee of $15 is needed at the registration night, but scholarship assistance is available. Adult volunteers are strongly encouraged to attend, too, as each troop needs at least two registered adult mentors. Girls that are already registered with a troop do not need to attend.
