Girls Swimming: Little Falls’ Foote, Klever and Swanson each win two events in rout of Milaca

Little Falls won seven events, sweeping the top three spots in two, en route to a runaway 103-68 victory at Milaca, Thursday.

Eighth-grader Allie Foote won a pair of individual races while sophomores Makyla Klever and Abby Swanson each were winners in an individual race and as part of a relay to lead the Flyers to the win.

Foote posted the top time in the 200-yard freestyle (2:15.9) and the 500 free (6:04.08), Klever won the 100 fly (1:10.44) and led off the first-place 200 medley relay team anchored by Swanson, eighth-grader Abby Van Heel and junior Mati Gold (2:05.34) and Swanson also won the 100 breaststroke (1:18.52).

Sophomore Kirsten Holtz added a first-place finish in the 200 individual medley (2:34.88) and eighth-grader Rachel Reller won the 100 backstroke (1:13.6).
