Marcella Boros

obit-Boros-MarcellaMarcella Marcy Boros, a resident of Little Falls, passed away Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at St. Gabriels Hospital in Little Falls.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, Sept. 26, at St. Marys Catholic Church, Little Falls, with Fr. Timothy Wenzel and Fr. Joseph Backowski concelebrating. Burial was in St. Marys Cemetery in Little Falls.
Marcella Marcy Mary Klisch was born June 1, 1933, in Bowlus, the daughter of Edward and Theresa (Jendro) Klisch. She attended Bowlus Elementary School and graduated from Upsala High School, Class of 1950. She then attended St. Cloud State University and graduated with a bachelor of science degree in education. She was united in marriage to Henry Boros, Aug. 16, 1955, at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Elmdale. The couple made their home in Little Falls where she lived the rest of her life. Marcy began her teaching career in the one-room school houses and continued through to the Pierz Catholic School. She then substitute taught in all the surrounding towns. She taught for more than 60 years retiring in 2009. Marcy enjoyed dancing, teaching, fishing, traveling, plays at the Orpheum and getting her family together. She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Little Falls.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Pam (Richard) Nieken of Little Falls; grandchildren, Wendy (William) Petrich of Randall, Gary Boros of Bemidji, Kyle (Sara) Posterick of Little Falls, Michelle (Brian) Lynch of Rockford, Addam Posterick of Sartell and James Nieken of Cokato; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Patricia (Merle) Jossart of Buffalo, Cathleen (Donald) Atkinson of Hamel, Lois (Clarence) Lampert of Bowlus, Alice Boser of Zimmerman, Robert (LaVerne) Klisch of St. Paul, Jane (Leonard) Okronglis of Ham Lake and Jean Mrozinski of New Brighton, Karen Struzyk (fiance, Clarence Rajkowski) of Holdingford, Anne Ostendorf of Coon Rapids and Mary Lou Czerniak of Shoreview; sisters-in-law, Kathryn Klisch of St. Paul, Veronica (Harvey) Doble of St. Cloud and Genevieve Elliott of Las Vegas, Nev.
Marcy was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Boros; son, Patrick H. Boros; parents, Edward and Theresa (Jendro) Klisch; sister, Roseanne Klisch and brother, James Klisch.
