Deborah Debbie Pfeiffer, a resident of Sauk Rapids, formerly of Swanville, passed away Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at her home.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, Sept. 26, at St. Johns Catholic Church in Swanville, with Father Ron Dockendorf officiating.
Deborah A. Tholen was born Feb. 5, 1952, to Florence (Rocheleau) and the late Neal Tholen. She was born and raised in Little Falls. She graduated from St. Francis School in Little Falls in 1970. She was united in marriage to Bruce Pfeiffer May 13, 1972, at St. Marys Catholic Church in Little Falls. The couple moved to Minneapolis, until husband, Bruce was drafted into the United States Army and moved to Texas. The couple then moved to the state of Washington until settling in Swanville. Bruce died Nov. 8, 2011. Debbie continued living in Swanville, until moving to Sauk Rapids in 2012. Debbie worked at Walmart in Little Falls  and at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud. Debbie cherished her time spent with her grandchildren and children. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and crocheting.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Kevin (Rebecca) Pfeiffer of Plymouth, Steven (McKenna) Pfeiffer of River Falls, Wis. and Michelle Pfeiffer of Hopkins; mother, Florence Tholen of Little Falls; siblings, Diane (Rick) Fraser of Fort Ripley, Wendy (Steve) Hennes of Sartell, Cindy (Craig) Kalahar of Little Falls, Michael (Bonnie) Tholen of Little Falls, Rebecca (Tom) Tholen of Stillwater and Jeffrey (Aimee) Tholen of Little Falls; grandchildren, Sophia Pfeiffer, Jocslyn Pfeiffer, Kalie Pfeiffer and Griffin Pfeiffer.
She was preceded in death by her father, Neal Cotton Tholen; husband, Bruce Pfeiffer, Nov. 8, 2011; and a sister-in-law, Sandra Wassell.
