Morrison County Republicans are extending an invitation to Central Minnesotans to join them for a special “Meet the Candidates” reception at LeBlanc’s Rice Creek Hunting and Recreation Center near Little Falls Friday, Oct. 4, from 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. All Republican candidates that are seeking the offices of Governor, U.S. Senator, and U.S. Representative in Congressional District 8 have been invited to attend the event to introduce themselves and meet with area residents.
Confirmed special guests are candidates for governor, former House Speaker Kurt Zellers and State Senator Dave Thompson; candidate for U.S. Senate State Rep. Jim Abeler; and candidate for U.S. Congressman Stewart Mills. Morrison County legislators Sen. Paul Gazelka, R-Cass County and Rep. Ron Kresha, R-Little Falls, will also be attendance.
Gamebird hors d’oeuvres (pheasant and duck) will be available. A homemade pie auction will be conducted for dessert. Families are invited.
