The Boys and Girls Club has purchased the former IGA building in west Little Falls. The roof was replaced first, to allow renovations to continue inside during the course of the winter. The goal is for the club to move into its new home in spring 2014. As a part of the plan, the building will also house a thrift store in partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Morrison County, which will generate funds for both organizations. Of the $1 million necessary to complete the renovation, $650,000 has already been raised or pledged. This sign at the site on Broadway West will keep track of the fundraising progress.
