The Little Falls Police Department is releasing information pursuant to Minnesota Statute 244.052 to the community regarding a Level 3 Predatory Offender. This offender is not wanted by the police and has served the sentence imposed on him by the court.
Shannon Michael Miller moved into the 200 block of Lindbergh Drive South. He has a history of engaging in sexual contact with female victims, age 10-15, including penetration.
A community notification meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday October 22nd 2013 at 5:30 p.m. at the Little Falls Community High School auditorium. Representatives from the Department of Corrections and Little Falls Police Department will be available to provide those in attendance with useful information on public safety.
Little Falls School District Superintendent Stephen Jones said, “We are having staff meetings at all of our schools to share the information sheet with faculty. We will have pertinent information posted in staff meeting areas. We have reviewed building entry protocol at all of our sites. Both bus companies–Palmer and Strack–have received the information and will be sharing it with drivers.”
Jones said if parents have questions, they can contact the school offices to talk with building principals. “People can also contact me at the district office,” Jones said.
