Boys Soccer: Little Falls shuts out Becker to clinch home playoff match

Little Falls handled host St. John’s Prep 4-0, Monday, clinching a first-round home playoff match for the Flyers.

Sophomore Riley Loukinen headed in a goal in the 17th minute off of an assist from senior Tim Infinger, giving Little Falls a 1-0 lead it would carry into halftime.

Eighth-grader Sam Beam then opened the game up with a pair of goal midway through the second half, assisted by Infinger and junior Connor Jorgensen, with senior Jake Loukinen capping the scoring with less than five minutes to play.

Little Falls finished with a 16-5 advantage in shots on goal, with senior Noah Eliason stopping all five shots he faced in goal.

Little Falls hosts Becker in the opening round of the Section 8A tournament, Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Belle Prairie soccer complex.
