The Little Falls boys placed its five scoring runners all in the top 22 to race to second place at Tuesday’s St. Cloud Tech Invite, with the Flyers girls earning seventh.
Senior Mathew Massmann was first across the line for the Little Falls boys, earning ninth overall in 17:34.
Senior Cameron Smith (17:34) was the next finisher for the Flyers, followed by senior Sebastian Sowada (17:58), eighth-grader Hunter Zupko (18:00), senior Daniel Mushel (18:10), junior Josh Kapsner (18:26) and sophomores Jacob Massmann (18:44), Daniel Palmer (19:28), Caden Brose (20:10) and Gunner Kleinschmidt (21:16).
Eighth-grader Annika Bjorge led the Little Falls girls, securing 23rd place in 16:44.
Junior Heidi Moe (16:54), eighth-grader Anna McNamara (17:11) and Catherine Zack (17:22) all placed in the top 40, followed by sophomore Amelia Kresha (17:25), freshman Kendal Hendrickson (17:39) and senior Vanessa Meschke (19:38).
