Little Falls fended off a match point to force a fifth set, but visiting St. Cloud Cathedral rebounded to pick up a 16-25, 25-11, 25-20, 25-27, 15-9 win, Tuesday.

Down 25-24 in the fourth set, Sierra Virnig helped Little Falls escape with three consecutive kills, extending the match the distance.

Virnig ended the night with a team-high 19 kills while also tallying 15 digs.

Kendra Pohlman posted a strong all-around performance as well, delivering 12 kills, 16 set assists and 30 digs.

Melanie Dorn had six kills and 20 set assists, Brooke Finch collected five kills and 15 digs and Tristen Zimmerman had 17 digs.

Jennifer Ronning added four kills and Laura Fregin contributed three.
