Delilah Fussy

obit---Fussy,-DelilahDelilah Lila Fussy, 85, a resident of Bowlus, passed away Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at St. Ottos Care Center in Little Falls.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus, with Fr. John Odero officiating. Interment was in the parish cemetery.
Delilah Veronica Zimprich was born Aug. 19, 1929, in Jessie, N.D. the daughter of Edward and Veronica (Gruman) Zimprich. She was married in November, 1947, and farmed until 1962, when she moved to McVille, N.D. Delilah worked at the nursing home in McVille from 1962 to 1965, the hospital from 1965 to 1968 and then the cafe; in McVille and Sharon. In 1976, Delilah married Jerome Fussy. She worked at the cafe; in Little Falls, Holdingford and Bowlus, retiring in 1999. Delilah was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus. She enjoyed fishing and traveling when time permitted.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jerome Fussy of Bowlus; children, Rosalie (Frederick) Gruman, Sue Ann (Robert) Brooks, John (Gina) Miller, Mary (Robert) Gruman and Joe (Penny) Miller all of North Dakota; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Delilah was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Veronica Zimprich; son, Gregory Miller and grandson, Phillip Brooks.
