Ponsford man convicted for possession of methamphetamine, a controlled substance

Harry Joseph Kettle, 25, Ponsford, was sentenced Oct. 24 to 60 months in prison following his guilty plea and conviction for a second degree controlled substance crime in Morrison County District Court.

Kettle was a passenger in a motor vehicle which was stopped for a traffic violation Sept. 29, 2012.  A pat-down search revealed a substance later confirmed by the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension’s forensic laboratory to be methamphetamine.
