South Dakota man charged with criminal sexual assault

Jakob Ryan Graber-Reischl, 20, Lennox, S.D., was charged Oct. 15 with one felony count of second degree criminal sexual conduct with a victim between the ages of 13 and 15, plus two felony counts of third degree criminal sexual conduct with a victim between the ages of 13 and 15.

On Oct. 13, Morrison County deputies were dispatched to a residence to investigate a sexual assault accusation.

The officer’s investigation revealed that Graber-Reischl was a guest at a residence where the victim lived. It was reported he came into the victim’s room, awoke the person and when she turned over, Graber-Reischl began kissing the victim.

When the victim said “No,” and tried to fight, Graber-Reischl allegedly forced her to perform a sexual act.

When finished, Graber-Reischl allegedly said, “Shush.”

Graber-Reischl is more than 48 months older than the victim.

If convicted, Graber-Reischl faces a maximum penalty of 25 years in prison and/or a $35,000 fine.
