Winter parking regulations in the city of Pierz will be in effect Nov. 1 through April 1, 2014.
The purpose of these regulations is to assure that the Department of Public Works can properly maintain the streets of Pierz for the safety and convenience of everyone. During this time period, vehicles cannot be parked on any city street in Pierz from 2 a.m. – 6 a.m.
Residential property owners must have snow and ice removed from sidewalks abutting their property by 24 hours following the snowfall.
The Pierz Police Department asks for residents’ voluntary compliance to these ordinances to allow safe foot and vehicle traffic throughout the city.
