Gavin Sutton


Gavin Sutton, 10, a resident of Swanville, passed away Nov. 4, 2013, at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale as the result of a four-wheeler accident.
A Mass of Christian burial was held Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Swanville, with the Rev. Ron Dockendorf officiating. Burial was at Bearhead Cemetery near Pillsbury.
Gavin Sutton was born June 27, 2003, in Staples to Loren and Brandy (Hartman) Sutton. He was a fourth grader at Swanville Elementary School. Gavin was always helpful to others; he was very considerate and responsible to others. He liked his money and was a saver. He enjoyed his video games, especially his WII and DS. He liked being outdoors, camping, fishing, and floating. He took some summer trips to Wisconsin Dells and to Mount Rushmore. He loved to bake; his favorite was the apple cookie. He loved his food; he was always hungry.
Gavin is survived by his parents, Loren Sutton of Swanville and Brandy Sutton of Royalton; sister, Brandell (Hunter) Siltman; brother, Chandler; grandmothers, Elaine Sutton, Joyce Hartman; great-grandmother, Mary Ann Hartman, and Godparents, Luke Habein and Jolene Sutton. He was also loved and survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Leo Sutton and Robert H. Hartman.
