Carol (Nieman) Theno

Carol D. (Nieman) Theno, 78-year-old resident of Little Falls, passed away Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, at St. Ottos Care Center in Little Falls.
Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 8, at First United Church in Little Falls, with the Rev. Damen Heitmann officiating. Burial took place in the Freedhem Lutheran Cemetery in Freedhem.
Carol was born Aug. 10, 1935, in Little Falls, to the late Paul and Ruth (Carlson) Nieman. She grew up in the Little Falls area where she attended school and graduated from High School in 1952. Carol went on to earn her teaching degree and pursue a career in education. She taught in several school districts throughout her career which include Little Falls, Litchfield, St. James, Buffalo Lake, and St. Cloud from which she retired from. Carol was united in marriage to Renold Theno in 1965. Carol enjoyed making crafts, attending rummage sales and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was a member at First United Church in Little Falls. Carols passion in life was children, she loved being around them and they enjoyed being with her.
Carol is survived by siblings, Paul (Cecelia) Nieman of Little Falls, June (Pete) Brutscher of Little Falls and Earl Nieman of Little Falls; and several nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by parents, Paul and Ruth Nieman; and husband, Renold Theno.
Memorials are preferred to the Historical Country School.
