A Little Falls man suffered severe injuries to both of his arms when they were caught in a corn picker.
About 12:25 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office received the call that James Houdek, 32, had his arms stuck in the corn picker at 10451 140th Street in Pike Creek Township, near Little Falls.
When officers arrived, Houdek had already been freed from the machinery. Deputies and Gold Cross Ambulance personnel quickly treated Houdek and transported him to St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls where he was airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale a short time later.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by Gold Cross Ambulance, Little Falls Fire Department and Life Link III.
