A four-goal flurry at the end of the first period sent Hibbing-Chisholm on its way to an 8-0 season-opening win over host Little Falls, Friday.

The game was tight defensively on both ends in the early going, with Little Falls earning the first two power-play opportunities, but unable to cash in.

The Bluejackets then came to life near the end of the period, taking the lead 10:23 into the game, then striking again three more times in 4:18.

Hibbing picked up three more goals in the second period and one more in the third and finished with a 19-16 edge in shots on goal.
