Jennifer Lisa Rasinski, 41, Eagan, was charged Nov. 15 with one felony count of fifth degree possession of a controlled substance.
On July 10, a Morrison County deputy noticed a vehicle with a suspended object hanging from its rearview mirror. While following, the deputy noticed the driver was making random turns, appearing to evade him.
The vehicle was stopped and Rasinski was identified. According to the complaint, she appeared nervous.
Rasinski told the deputy he could search her vehicle and purse where he found a pill later identified as Nucynta, an opiate pain reliever, a schedule II controlled substance which cannot be possessed without a valid prescription.
Rasinski allegedly said the pill did not belong to her.
If convicted, Rasinski faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine.
