Greg P. Fussy

Greg P. Fussy, 51-year-old resident of rural Pierz, passed away Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, at his home in Pierz.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Dec. 6, at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Morrill, with Father Leo Moenkedick officiating. Burial was at St. Josephs Parish Cemetery in Morril.
Greg Fussy was born April 14, 1962, in St. Cloud, to the late Arthur and Bernice (Ritzko) Fussy. He graduated from Foley High School in 1980. He was united in marriage to Michelle Jean Gunther, May 19, 1984, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pierz. The couple made their home in Morrill Township, Morrison County. He worked construction for the majority of his life and was currently employed at Gander Mountain. Greg enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, farming, camping, but most importantly, spending time with his family and friends. He had an amazing love for animals, especially Josie, his Jack Russell Terrier. Greg was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church in Morrill. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Michelle Jean Fussy of Ramey; children, Josh Fussy of Ramey, Jesse (Alisha Voigt) of Ramey; siblings, Sherian (Mel) Hiltner of St. Cloud, Ron (Gail) Fussy of Bakersfield, Calif., Susie (late Richard Wisneski) of Rice, Kevin (Donna) Fussy of Ramey, Cary (Deanna Beddingfield) Fussy of St. Joseph and Chris (Trisha) Fussy of Ramey; 22 beloved nieces and nephews and 22 great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Bernice Fussy; sister, Cynthia; brother-in-law, Richard Wisneski and father-in-law, Bill Gunther.
The family would like to thank family and friends for all of their generous support and caring compassion.
Honorary casketbearers were Ron Fussy, Kevin Fussy, Cary Fussy, Chris Fussy, Jim Gunther, Clyde Gunther. Casketbearers were Josh Fussy, Jesse Fussy, Edward Kampa Jr. Dale Hiscock, Jeff Foss, Jake Ratke, Robin Wisneski and Thomas Hiltner.
