After trading goals in each of the first two periods, Little Falls scored twice in the third to defeat visiting Morris-Benson Area 4-2, Tuesday, and earn its first win of the season.
Sophomore Landon Bjorge scored the opening goal of the game for the Flyers, but Morris-Benson came back to take a 2-1 advantage midway through the second period.
It was a short-lived lead, however, as senior Jack Schulte evened the score back up 34 seconds later, sending the game into the third period deadlocked at 2-2.
The Flyers wasted little time taking control coming out of the intermission, as freshman Hunter Swanson tallied his first career goal 40 seconds into the third, with senior Mark Anez adding a short-handed insurance goal with four minutes to play.
Sophomore Gunner Boser made 22 saves to earn the win in net and sophomore Braden Backowski had two assists on the night.
