Girls Basketball: Second-half surge pushes LPGE past Swanville

Swanville started strong in its season opener against visiting Long Prairie-Grey Eagle (LPGE), Monday, jumping ahead 28-20 at halftime, but the Thunder rallied for a 55-43 win.

Junior Steph Koetter was the top scorer for the Bulldogs with 15 points, followed by senior Nikki Primus with nine, junior Danica Hanson with eight and sophomore Haileigh Sales and freshman Madison Beseman with four apiece.
