Thank you letters, Dec. 8, 2013 issue

To the Editor:

Tim Brummer and his Sentence to Serve crew have been helping us in the demolition process at the new Boys and Girls Club. I would like to express our appreciation for their work. Tim has been very accommodating and responsive to our needs. His crew has worked very hard, been pleasant and respectful. Their efforts have saved us many thousands of dollars in labor cost as well. The STS program is a valuable asset in our community. —Bernie Jeub, president, Boys and Girls Club of Morrison County

To the Editor:

On behalf of students and staff at Little Falls Community Middle School, we would like to thank the Stand Up 4 U Coalition and the LFCMS parent advisory committee for their support of our Flyer Pride efforts. Thanks to these two groups, we are able to maintain our COOL Commissary, where students redeem COOL tickets weekly, which they earn by displaying respect, responsibility, positive attitude and safety. We are grateful for their generosity. — Michelle Brekken, LFCMS social worker and Lisa Smith, LFCMS counselor, Little Falls

To the Editor:

Thanks to the Little Falls Community High School for hosting the dinner, Julie Slettom’s FACS class, Coborn’s, the Franciscan Sisters, all who donated pies and desserts, the Morrison County Record for publicity and children from Lindbergh, Lincoln, Dr. S.G. Knight, and Mary of Lourdes Schools for making placemats. — Nate Bjorge, event chair, Little Falls
