Royalton-Upsala nearly doubled up host Holdingford as it avenged a loss from last season’s section semifinals with a 47-24 triumph, Thursday.
Senior Matt Neu, sophomore Kyle Lange and eighth-grader Lyle Zimmerman picked up pins for the Royals and sophomore Brad Kroll and seventh-grader Jackson Held won by major decision.
Eighth-grader Cole Scofield won by a score of 4-2 and senior Mitch Lange, junior Trent Cimenski and sophomore Clinton Gadacz received forfeits.
For the Huskers, senior Kyle Gerads and juniors Zach Scott and Nathan Brinker produced falls while junior Jamey Koetter and sophomore Clem Gerads also won.
Holdingford also wrestled against Aitkin earlier in the night, falling 49-21.
Brinker, Kyle Gerads and Scott once again delivered bonus-point victories, with sophomore Ryan Skroch and freshman Tony Kierstead winning by decision.
Royalton-Upsala and Aitkin did not wrestle.
