To the Editor:
On Oct. 27, the Morrison County DFL Chairman (MCDFLC) wrote, “DFLers have placed a high importance on education” in this newspaper.
On Nov. 10, I asked the MCDFLC to advise all of us, in this newspaper, exactly what the DFLers are doing to advance or hinder the school improvements proposed by the ECM Editorial Board in the Sept. 1 Record. It’s been five weeks and we have not read a response.
I could assume the MCDFLC was just spinning for us like Obama when he says education is his most important concern at the same time he was trying to shut down the minority charter school in Washington, D.C.
Or I could assume the MCDFLC is just unable or unwilling to rustle up the three items printed in this newspaper. If he will give me his address, I will be happy to mail him copies. Unless I hear from him, I will assume the MCDFLC has obtained the materials from other sources and look forward to his response in this newspaper before my next five-week letter to the editor.
By that time, I assume our Republican senator and representative will have also responded in this newspaper. — Thomas E. Paulson, Little Falls
