Randall man convicted of third degree burglary

On Nov. 27, Morrison County District Courts convicted Dustin Dean Quirk, 22, Randall, of third degree felony burglary.

On April 9, law enforcement received a report that the Busy Bee Laundromat in Randall had been burglarized. It appeared as if the locked portion of the business had been broken into and coins were taken from the change machine.

A surveillance video showed two males breaking into the building at about 2:30 a.m.

Law enforcement later learned one of the men was Quirk and that the coins had been cashed in at Grand Casino Mille Lacs.

Surveillance at Grand Casino showed Quirk and another man cashing in $427.75 in quarters.

Quirk was credited for 38 days served in the Morrison County Jail, given supervised probation for five years and fined $135.
