Boys Basketball: Duluth East churns out low-scoring win over Little Falls

Duluth East topped visiting Little Falls in a slow-paced defensive struggle 46-38, Monday.

Both teams were relatively quiet from the field, with the difference proving to be a 16-8 margin in free throws made favoring Duluth East.

Senior Sebastian Sowada scored 14 points and junior Bryce Zawatzke had seven points, eight rebounds and four assists to lead the Flyers.

Senior Mark Hanowski followed with six points and junior Brighton Goodrich added four.
