To the Editor:
Under Gov. Mark Dayton and the Democratic Farmer Labor (DFL)-led Legislature, we have a balanced state budget, a fairer tax system and this fall, free all-day kindergarten for all students. This is a stark contrast to Republican leaders who borrowed money from our schools and spent a decade disinvesting in Minnesota.
To keep moving forward and Build a Better Minnesota, we must re-elect Dayton and a DFL House majority Nov. 4, 2014. To ensure working families have a strong voice in Washington, D.C. we must also re-elect Sen. Al Franken and our Democratic delegation to the U.S. House of Representatives.
The first step in that process is to attend your precinct caucus Tuesday, Feb. 4. If you’ve never attended a precinct caucus and have questions, you can view a video of what takes place at a meeting at www.dfl.org. You can also visit www.dfl.org to find out where your precinct caucus is located.
By re-electing Gov. Dayton and DFL legislators and working together, we will continue to Build a Better Minnesota. Please be part of this effort and attend your DFL precinct caucus Feb. 4. — Gary Gannon, Randall
